What is SickRage?

SickRage is a program that downloads your favorite TV shows, then processes and stores them in your library. And that all fully automated! Just set it up and as soon as there is a new episode released it gets downloaded. SickRage is your ultimate PVR.!

How does this all work?

When you add a show to SickRage the data (like air-dates, episode name/number) are pulled from an indexer like TheTVDb or TvRage. At that point SickRage knows when a new episode is going to air and starts the search on your favorite Torrent and/or NZB site. For this search you can set quality settings. For example: HDTV or SD quality. SickRage will go over all the results to find the quality YOU want and when found snatches the torrent/nzb and sends it to your download client. (sabnzb, utorrent, transmission etc.) At this point SickRage start monitoring your clients download folder to see if the file is finished downloading. When this is the case SickRage starts the post-processing. Here you can tell SickRage to move the file to your shows folder, or also rename it, or send notifications to Plex/Kodi or to your smart-phone. The list is long for what you can do with post-processing, simply set the actions you prefer. And this whole proses is completely automated. So once you set it up no user intervention is required. This makes SickRage ideal for NAS devices. But can run on almost every other device.

Hi,

I don't know if it's only for me but even if I get my configuration back, I can't connect Sickrage to my torrent client (Transmission)

I've checked the parameters in a backuped configuration file with the current and all is the same.

Is it something I can do? I can check? Nothing in the log from Sickrage or transmission.

Thank you

I don't think it's a problem?!

Tried to restart module (both) but didn't work

Hi,

I'm still having trouble to connect to Transmission. I even tried with SABNZBD+ and can't connect either.

If I run the older version (1.160716) I have no problem with the same parameters.

Am I the only one? Smile
