doesn't have to be like that...but something has changed on the latest firmware.
Anyway, with the latest version 0.20.0.1 you can change back the ports to 80 and 443 for Thecus WebUI. But also on OS7 Thecus has embedded the Letsencrypt function. You can find it on Control Panel >> Web Service >> Advanced >> Get SSL Certificates Let's Encrypt.

x64 version updated to 0.20.0.1

I'm on OS7 but I can't use the built in Let's Encrypt function because ports 80 and 443 not directed to my Thecus NAS.

Can I use this module to request a Let's Encrypt certificate using DNS challenge validation?

For DNS challenge validation some additional packages are needed

Thank you for the information.

I found a workaround by requesting the certificate using DNS challenge validation from my Windows computer and then copying the certificate to the NAS.

For anyone interested, I used the following guide:

Yesterday Letsencrypt launched wildcard certificate.
To be able to apply for it, you will need at least Certbot version 0.22 (https://letsencrypt.org/docs/client-options/)
Version in this module is 0.20
Could you update the module?
Thx!

Thx for updating!
However I'm unable to obtain a wildcard certificate using this updated module.
