#1
Hi,

can you configure a Module of ecoDMS (https://www.ecodms.de/index.php/en/) for Thecus N5550 (OS7)?

Version: ecoDMS Server Version 16.09 (eleanor)

Well, i don't find an open source to download on their website. If there is no source to download, Thecus have to contact ecoDMS to create a package for them

The software is not open source but they offer a community edition which is free of charge:

Quote:The software components for the demo version, Free4Three version and the full version are identical. They can all be downloaded in the software download area of the ecoDMS website.
  • After the first installation, ecoDMS is automatically enabled as demo version for the first 30 days. The demo includes almost all ecoDMS functions, addons and plugins, except for mobile services.
  • If no license code is entered, the system automatically restricts the functions after 30 days.
  • This is then the Free4Three version (Community Edition). This may only be used privately, but for an unlimited period of time.

On the website you can download installation packages for Linux. My idea was that the might be a basis for a Modul for Thecus NAS.
They only offer modules for Synology and QNAP. :-(

Kind Regards.

well yes and not  easy.
On Qnap and Synology, it runs as a docker image, and available to download from NAS interface. Unfortunately, docker is not available for Thecus. I try to build docker , but it depends very much on the kernel. Without some involvement from Thecus i dont know if will be possible

Hmm I see. :-(

Another suggestion would be agorum core

There the source code is available:

This might be another option for a DMS on Thecus NAS:

https://www.logicaldoc.com/

Maybe you can investigate.

Thank you!
