I just installed 0.16.312.0.

Jackett's auto updater is trying to upgrade to 0.16.585 and then fails to launch.
log.txt looks like this...
`2020-05-31 17:58:26.1511 Info Jackett variant: CoreLinuxAmdx64
2020-05-31 17:58:42.6911 Info New release found. Current: v0.16.312 New: v0.16.585
2020-05-31 17:58:42.7856 Info Downloading release v0.16.585 It could take a while...
2020-05-31 17:59:22.2736 Info Starting updater: /tmp/JackettUpdate-v0.16.585-637265447473741940/Jackett/JackettUpdater --Path "/raiddata/0/data/module/Jackett/bin/Jackett" --Type "Console" --Args " --IgnoreSslErrors true -d /raid/data/MOD_CONFIG/Jackett" --KillPids "5946"
2020-05-31 17:59:22.6290 Info Updater started process id: 28251
2020-05-31 17:59:22.6290 Info Exiting Jackett..
`
but then there are no new lines added to updater.txt, implying that that JackettUpdater never actually runs.

I tried manually replacing the /raiddata/0/data/module/Jackett/bin/Jackett folder with the Jackett folder from latest release, and that version fails to launch. So, I put the 0.16.312.0 folder back in place and disabled the auto-update.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

you cannot auto-update as the binary file have to be manually patched to be compatible with Thecus NAS.

Gotcha. I'll stay away from that button. I think it is on by default.

On a side note: THANK YOU! There was an app I wanted to install so I started looking into how to build modules. Just reading the instructions was enough to make me REALLY appreciate all the work you put into maintaining all these.

I have an issue with Jackett on a Thecus N5810Pro. Like another user reported, Jackett never starts, no matter how many times you try to start it, it acts like it is starting but never does. I have had this issue with the last 3 OS7 versions released and I update all the prerequisite packages as per the instruction on the first page. I have deactived and activated other modules to see if Jackett responds, but no change. Log.txt is empty, no configuration either.

Any help would be welcome.

Just to add to the above message, there is no Jackett folder under MOD_CONFIG, if that helps.
The last version that worked for me is 0.11.440.
